Christine is a Certified Maya Abdominal Massage Therapist, a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Polarity Practitioner, and a Certified Doula (DONA). Christine became a massage therapist in 2002. Christine’s work has always been energy based and now her focus is primarily on Maya Healing work. She sees the body as a whole, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual. Christine uses her intuitive mind to bring a calm, gentle touch to her clients.

Christine began studying Maya Abdominal Massage under the apprenticeship of Dr. Rosita Arvigo in 2007. This work is based on over a 5000-year-old lineage of ancient Mayan healing forms. These techniques seek to restore the body to its natural balance, homeostasis.
Christine’s massage training was at the Polarity Realization Institute in Portland, Maine. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Her primary training is in holistic massage. Christine is also a Polarity Practitioner, working with the energy flow within the body, bringing balance and harmony in the body. She has studied and done workshops on the techniques of Ayurvedic healing with well-known Polarity Practitioner, Gina Mastroluca, at the Moksha Center in Portland, Maine.
As a doula, Christine uses her calm voice and guidance to help all women trust in their bodies. She believes that regular massages throughout a woman's pregnancy will benefit both the mother and her unborn child.
Christine trained at the Ballard House in Portland, Maine, and also at Birthwise in Bridgton, Maine. Christine is certified by DONA (Doulas of North America). She has attended workshops with well-known author and doula, Penny Simpkin, as well as Level One “Birthing From Within” Mentor training with Pam England. She continues to educate herself on birthing and attends births regularly. She feels that every birth is a gift and blessing to bear witness to.
